Students of DPS Udhampur bring laurels to the school by their outstanding performance in Eighth North Indian Karate championship 2018, held at Kali Bari Distt Kathua.
Students who have secured Gold Medal in the Championship are Suhana Manzoor (Class-VI) and Jasmehar (Class- VII). The Silver Medal was secured by Archie (Class- X), Sneha Class- (X) and Swara (Class- VI) and the Bronze medal was won by Tejal (Class- II).Suhana Manzoor (Class- VI) has been selected for International Level Karate Championship.
The aim behind this program is to divert our youth towards importance of sports and channelize their energy in a constructive way.
The Pro-Vice Chairman of the School Dr.J.C.Gupta Congratulated the Children for their excellent performance. He stated that “ All growth depends upon activity, there is no development physically or intellectually without effort and effort mean work”. He also congratulated the coach of the team Mr.Udhay Singh who has also won the Gold Medal in the same Championship.
The Students of DPS, Udhampur are turning no stones unturned to bring laurels to the school. The saga of this unbeatable success will continue at DPS, Udhampur.
