Delhi Public School, Udhampur celebrated children’s day with great fervor and enthusiasm. To make it a joyful day for Dpites a cultural extravaganza was presented by the teachers. Teachers presented songs, dances, a play to express their affection for the students and various games were arranged for kids.
The students enjoyed the show thoroughly and expressed their joy and gratitude with a thundering applause.
The Pro-Vice Chairman of the school Dr. J.C Gupta in his address to the gathering spoke about Children’s Day. During his address he gave guidelines to all students and the teachers that they should consider Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru as the role model and should bring up their children with lots of love and affection and should mould them to become better citizens of tomorrow. Children should not be burdened or compelled of scoring more marks in academics only. Children should be encouraged for all around development and one should bring out their hidden talent too.
All the staff members of DPS, Udhampur participated in the celebration for their kids. Later on as a token of love refreshment was given to all the students.
Undoubtedly celebration held at school was remarkable.
