on 21st Feb ,2019, Delhi Public School Udhampur bid a fond farewell to the outgoing class XIITH batch of 2018 with great enthusiasm. The theme this year for the farewell was Retro and the students created an era of 70th with their beautiful outfits , props and decorations .
The morning was a fiesta devoted to the years spent together with friends and teachers to remorse joyous moments. The Tilak ceremony of class xii students marked the beginning of the function.
The program inside the multi-purpose hall commenced with the welcome address of the Pro-Vice Chairman of the school Dr. J.C.Gupta who applauded the batch as one of the brightest ones. He appreciated their contribution towards school and raising the bar of perfection. He wished them to make a mark in the world outside, carrying forth the school motto ‘Service before Self’

The highlights of the functions was the beautiful cultural presentation. The students of class XI put forth a mix of scintillating dance performances, melodious songs, interesting games and pulsating music that rocked the hall. The students of class XIITh during a session of share your feelings, being a DPITE ,were overwhelmed while sharing their sweet memories about the school and how being the part of the school was the stepping stone in their life. The students while speaking became emotional and said it was the second family that they will miss.
A talent hunt was organized by class XI to crown the Mr. and Miss DPS, Udhampur.
The crown of Mr.DPS, Udhampur was given to Sarthak Sharma and Miss DPS Udhampur was Tanisha Mankotia. Miss evening was Sarish Feria and Mr evening was Saksham Gupta and runner up title was bagged by Arnav & Nandani .
After the program everyone assembled for dance and refreshment. The beautiful day ended with both happiness and sorrow. The Principal Dr Kunal Anand quoted to his kids that “When evening draws the curtains and twilight finds the stars , remember you have well wishers , no matter where you are “ The management and staff wished the students ‘ BEST OF LUCK’ for their future
